Aren't we a good looking bunch?

On Oct 23 Lindsey and I went to Washington to see Ab, Wendel, and Tyson. We spent time with Ab looking at baby things and regestering for things she might need for the baby. It was so fun to see how Ab is starting to show. She is so beautiful pregnant. She is about 5 months along. We spent time going to Sassy Mae which is a bouquet where they set up a booth with their photography displayed. It was so fun to be able to be their with them. We spent time with Ty also. All of us played games, watched movies, and ate lots of yummy food. I wish I didn't live so far from all of my kids. I miss them so much. The time goes by so fast when we are together. But I do feel blessed that I was able to see all of my kids in the month of Oct. I love you all so much!!!!!

On Oct 14 Levi and Leslie drove up to go to a Wedding recepiton of one of Leslie's old roomates.
They drove up in Levis truck, so Levi could go through some of his boxes and take back some of his things that I have been storing for him. It was so good to see him. We spent time visiting on Saturday. Sunday we had a nice dinner and then went to visit grandparents. Time always goes to fast when I am with my kids. It was a great weekend. I always feel so blessed when I get to spen time with my kids.

IT'S A BOY!!!!!!!

I am so excited for Ashley and Wendel. They went to the Dr. on Wednesday Oct. 14th and found out that they are going to have a baby boy. Ashley said that the baby seems to be very active. Now when I go to the store I am automatically drawn to the baby section. What fun. Lindsey and I are going to Washington next week, so it will be fun to see Ashley pregnant. It will also be fun to spend some time with Tyson. This is such a beautiful time of the year with the leaves changing colors and the days cooling down. I am so grateful for all of the blessings I have in my life.

On Sunday we had a farewell dinner for James, because he is going to bootcamp. He has decidedto join the army and serve his country. We are very proud of him for this decision. Dave thinks this will be a very good thing for James. Of course we will miss him and our prayers will be with him always. We had my Mom and Dad, Lindsey and Dylan, Sarah, Jacob, Jen (Jame's girlfriend) and Jens parents over for dinner. We cooked out steaks and had some yummy sides. It was fun to be together and spend this time with James. Dave's brother John and his wife, Nathan and Mia who are cousins came also.

I'm going to be a Grandma

Me, Ashley and Lindsey after shopping for baby
clothes at the outlets in Park City. I just couldn't resist.
Eating at Blue Iguana after hearing the news.

Ashley and Wendel
They are going to be such great parents

A month ago Ashley and Wendel told us some amazing news. I am going to be a Grandma!!! Of course I was sworn to secrecy, because they didn't want anyone to know until they were 3 months along. I want you to know that I was very good, and didn't even tell my parents. There is something about knowing your daughter is going to be a mother. One of my greatest joys is being a mother, and I am so excited that Ashley will have that wonderful experience. Your life changes forever, but it is a good thing.

When Ashley and Wendel were here last month interviewing for a job, we all went out to dinner (Me, Dave, Lindsey, Dylan, Fred and Linda Schultz, Bethany and her friend) to the Blue Iguana. Just as everyone was getting ready to leave, Ashley said they had an announcement to make... they told us they were expecting in March. Now to say that I got excited would be an understatement. I was probably an embarssament to them, but I just couldn't have been happier. I have been waiting a long time for this.
It will also be another wonderful phase in my life. People tell me that being a grandma is even better that being a mom. I am so grateful for all of my wonderful children. I have been so blessed in my life. Thank you Ashley and Wendel for this wonderful gift. I am so proud of both of you and love you so much.

St. George and Bryce Canyon

Can you tell the wind was blowing?

In front of the Poster "Annie"

Last weekend Aug 14, 15, and 16, Dave had business in St. George. So he went down on Wedenesday and I joined him on Friday. We had such a great time. We went to the play "Annie" at Tuacan, which is an outdoor theater in the evening. The next day we decieded to drive through the cities of Hilldale and Colorado City. These are poligamist cities. I had just finished reading the book "Escape" which is about a woman who was in a poligamist marriage and how she escaped with her 8 children. Very interesting to me. After that we were going to go to "Zions National Park" but decided to drive on to "Bryce Canyon". Dave had never been to "Bryce" and it had been 20 years since I had been there, so It was fun to see it together. It was absolutly amazing. I am so grateful for the beautiful world that Heavenly Father has created for us. We are so blessed to be able to witness his creation. Dave and I really had a nice time. We enjoy taking road trips, and sometimes the ones that are spur of the moment are the best.

Lindsey and Grandpa Dancing

Lindsey and Grandpa

It has been awhile since I have bloggged. Last week, well almost 2 weeks ago on August 21, Lindsey and Dylan and I went to Britney Hensleys wedding reception. Even though this is where a lot of the pictures were taken, I decided to label it memories of Grandma and Grandpa Roberts. I don't really know how long they will be around, and it makes me sad to think they will gone someday. Although they are getting old and it is hard for them to get around, Grandpa was playing his horn and Grandma was telling us endless stories. Grandpas goal was to dance with all of his grandaughters that were there. I also was privleged to be able to dance with him.
They have always been so good to me, and I will always hold a special place for them in my heart. I wanted to share some of my favorite pictures of them from that evening.
