Lavander Days in Mona Utah

It was such a beautiful overcast day
Mom and I in the Lavander Fields

I thought I would catch up a little on my blog. July 11 Mom and I went to the Lavander Days in Mona Utah. It is amazing to see the fields of lush purple lavander. We picked bouquets of lavander and each made a wreath. It was something mom has always wanted to do, so I am glad we could go together.

My Birthday

Dad, Mom. Louise, Dave and Lindsey

My Yummy Spagetti with Mizethra Cheese

Mom, Dad, Dave and I at Spagetti Factory

My birthday was last week on July 8. It is hard to believe that I am 52 and that I have a daughter that is 30. I truly believe that we are as old as we feel, and I must admit that I feel pretty good. For my birthday Lindsey and Dylan came over to my work and had lunch with me. I am always glad when they come and visit. After work Dave asked me where I wanted to go for my birthday and I chose Spagetti Factory ( which if you know me it is one of my favorite resturants.) We invited mom and dad to come and Lindsey and Dylan. Dylan had to work so Linds met us there. It was fun, and the food was amazing as it always is. I always order the managers favorite which is half and half of what you want. So I got the spagetti with mizrethia and mushroom sauce. Yummy!! The day was perfect because it ended with me talking to each of my children. Although Levi did call me in the morning which was a nice way to start my day. I am thankful for another year of life. I have been blessed with so many things in my life. I am so grateful that I am healthy. Thank you all for making my day so special.

4th of July

My beautiful hanging baskets

I love how patriotic my flower garden looks by the flag

Dave and I celebrated the 4th of July by going to a "Concert in the Park" at Founders Park in Centerville. The group that performed were called the "Beach Toys" and they sang a variety of songs by the Beach Boys the Beatles, and the Monkeys. I guess that really ages me. Anyway it was a lot of fun. After, we watched the fireworks, which if anybody knows me that is one of my very favorite things to do. The next day we went to the Centerville Parade with Grandma and Grandpa. It was a lame parade, but we were ableto sit in the shade and the weather was overcast. Lots of fun. Later that day we had a cook out and then I went to the 1/2 off sale at Pineae Nursery and was able to get some beautiful hanging baskets and spent the afternoon planting flowers, which is another one of my favorite things to do. Anyway it was a relaxing weekend.
