In front of the Poster "Annie"

Last weekend Aug 14, 15, and 16, Dave had business in St. George. So he went down on Wedenesday and I joined him on Friday. We had such a great time. We went to the play "Annie" at Tuacan, which is an outdoor theater in the evening. The next day we decieded to drive through the cities of Hilldale and Colorado City. These are poligamist cities. I had just finished reading the book "Escape" which is about a woman who was in a poligamist marriage and how she escaped with her 8 children. Very interesting to me. After that we were going to go to "Zions National Park" but decided to drive on to "Bryce Canyon". Dave had never been to "Bryce" and it had been 20 years since I had been there, so It was fun to see it together. It was absolutly amazing. I am so grateful for the beautiful world that Heavenly Father has created for us. We are so blessed to be able to witness his creation. Dave and I really had a nice time. We enjoy taking road trips, and sometimes the ones that are spur of the moment are the best.

Lindsey and Grandpa

It has been awhile since I have bloggged. Last week, well almost 2 weeks ago on August 21, Lindsey and Dylan and I went to Britney Hensleys wedding reception. Even though this is where a lot of the pictures were taken, I decided to label it memories of Grandma and Grandpa Roberts. I don't really know how long they will be around, and it makes me sad to think they will gone someday. Although they are getting old and it is hard for them to get around, Grandpa was playing his horn and Grandma was telling us endless stories. Grandpas goal was to dance with all of his grandaughters that were there. I also was privleged to be able to dance with him.
They have always been so good to me, and I will always hold a special place for them in my heart. I wanted to share some of my favorite pictures of them from that evening.

A beautiful morning

At my job I usually go into work at 5:00 am. I love going to work this early, and one of the reasons is because it is such a beautiful time of the morning. This is a picture I took the other morning as I was walking into work. I am so grateful for the beautiful world we live in, and for everything Heavenly Father has created for us.

Doria Family Reunion

Doria Family

Daves Parents Nat and RJ

July 22nd through July 26th we hosted the Doria Family Reunion at our home in Centerville.
We had 30 people stay at our home. It was really fun to have everyone together. We had Joes family from New York, and Jena and her family from Ariziona. Daves Mom and Dad came up from Arizona also. Johns family came in from Feron, Utah. It was good to all be together. We had a BarBQ at the Park, where everyone grilled their favorite meats. The teenagers played volleyball, and the little kids played at the playground. We also spent time at the rec. center, swimming, and then to the movie theater to see Harry Potter. Everyone took part in cooking meals, and helping to keep the house clean. The culmination of the reunion was a talent show. There were presentations on the piano, drums, guitar, and vocals. Daves parents ended by singing and dancing to some of their old time favorites. It was so nice to spend time together and get to know everyone.
